The Georgia Pharmacy Foundation is officially accepting applications for the Georgia Pharmacy Foundation
Scholarships. These are awarded based on leadership, academic achievement, and/or commitment to the profession of pharmacy in Georgia.
The Scholarships:
- Carlton Henderson Scholarship $1500.00: Funded by the Foundation for students showing strong commitment to pharmacy practice in Georgia.
- Neal L. Pruitt, Sr. Scholarship $1500.00: Awarded based on leadership abilities.
- Regina Baird Scholarship $1500.00: Awarded for academic excellence.
- Additional new $1500.00 scholarships will be announced for the first time
Eligibility Requirements:
- Membership: Candidates generally must be current student members of the Georgia Pharmacy Association
- Location: Students must be enrolled in one of the four accredited pharmacy schools in Georgia (Mercer University, University of Georgia, PCOM, or South University)
- Minimum GPA of 2.0
- Must be present at the GPhA Convention, June 18-21, 2026, Omni Amelia Island, FL, to accept scholarship (at least one day)
How to Apply:
Please provide to a current CV, a brief personal statement (less than 500 words) regarding your career goals, if you plan to practice in Georgia, and the importance of being involved with the Georgia Pharmacy Association as a pathway to leadership development, mentorship, and building professional identity before graduation.
