Update On Clinical Presentation and Management of Patients with Diabetes

This program describes the symptoms and risk factors for type 1 and type 2 diabetes. A review of the role of newer pharmaceutical agents in the management of patients with diabetes and discuss self-monitoring of blood glucose in order to adjust medication therapy is discussed. The program also presents common drug interactions between glucose-lowering and over-the-counter medications.
