Policy on Tap

Enjoy some beers (or your drink of choice) while getting a primer on the side of pharmacy you don’t see: advocacy and legislation.

Held at a local brewery, it’s a fun, informal gathering — talking, drinking, munching … while state legislators, lobbyists, and members of GPhA’s advocacy team update students on the kinds of legislation GPhA has worked on, and what’s on the plate for the current legislative session.

Day at the Dome

Once a year, hundreds of Georgia pharmacy students  put on their white coats, gather at the Georgia State Capitol, and help flex GPhA’s political muscle.

It’s called Pharmacy Day at the Dome, GPhA’s annual advocacy events just for Georgia student pharmacists.

Pharmacy Day at the Dome is free and it’s your way to learn more about legislative advocacy, have your voice heard — and have more than a little fun in the process.

You’ll join our advocacy staff to meet virtually-to-face with legislators, and you’ll see up close and personal how we (and you!) advocate for pharmacists.
