I’m not a member and I received an invoice for GPhA dues. What is this invoice for?
GPhA has launched a campaign to encourage every pharmacist in Georgia to become a member of their professional association.
We think you will want to be a member because no other group in Georgia is working in the legislature and with the board of pharmacy to protect your ability to practice to the full extent of your training and licensure.
We think you will want to be a member because no other organization in Georgia speaks for the entire scope of pharmacy practice.
If issues like provider status, or being recognized as an essential member of the healthcare team, or being governed by rules that are fair and consistent for you AND your patients are important to you, you need to be a part of GPhA, because that’s what we’re fighting for.
With you as a member, our influence grows, and our ability to serve you increases. Add to that the cutting edge online education accessible from anywhere in the state and information services for our members that keep you at the top of your game. It’s a good deal, and we make joining is simple. You can pay all at one, or monthly for only $20 a month. Click here to sign up.
Am I required to be a member?
You are not required to become a GPhA member – we wouldn’t be an association if you were – but it just makes good sense that you belong. Without GPhA, you’re just out there on your own. As a member, though, you have resources and protection that are of considerably greater value than the cost of the annual dues. We save members money on CPE, group buying, member services like insurance and student loan refinancing, and discounts on Georgia Pharmacy Convention 2017 in Amelia Island. That’s the power of association. Click here if you’re reading to add your voice to ours.
