The Georgia Pharmacy Foundation’s Student Support Initiative

The cost of education is expensive. The Georgia Pharmacy Foundation is pleased to grant 4 student scholarships per year to each of Georgia’s 4 pharmacy schools.

These P2 and P3 Student Pharmacists exemplify academic achievement, community engagement, and leadership. They each plan to practice pharmacy in Georgia upon graduation.

Amy Ringer, PCOM Regina Baird  Scholarship recipient

“I plan to become a clinical pharmacist that works on a cardiac unit helping to improve the quality of life of cardiac patient’s therapy. I have a passion to help patients that need cardiovascular health and hypertension medical needs. I plan to take my 20 years of experience as a pharmacy technician, and now future pharmacist to the field of pharmacy and use my expertise to change the lives of others. I appreciate this scholarship and accept it as an investment in my academic and professional endeavors. I would like to thank the Georgia Pharmacy Foundation for acknowledging my outstanding performance and role in the pharmacy field and I will pay it forward by serving patients, evolving the role of pharmacists, and educating our community on healthcare needs.”
