Academy of Pharmacy Technicians
The Academy of Pharmacy Technicians represents registered technicians practicing in the state of Georgia.
Welcome to the home of the Academy of Pharmacy Technicians. APT is one of GPhA’s academies and represents pharmacy technicians employed in various practice settings. Technicians have unique issues and needs and APT serves to articulate those needs to the GPhA board and staff.
PURPOSE
To advance the professional life of pharmacy technicians in order to assist pharmacists in delivering the most effective health care to the community; to sponsor and encourage the development of continuing educational courses and programs for the advancement of its members; to promote and enhance the value of pharmacy technicians; and to maintain liaisons with the Georgia Pharmacy Association and other organizations sharing mutual objectives.
